Unit 1: Number Sense
In Number Sense we are learning to...
- read numerals and number words to 100, such as twenty-five and 25
- represent numbers to 100 by using base ten blocks, number lines, a place value chart,
words, expanded form, and by drawing sketches
- compare and order numbers to and from 100 (ex. 87, 49, 31, 7 or 3, 14, 22, 68)
- round 2-digit numbers to the nearest ten (ex. 43 is rounded down to 40)
Our first unit test will be on Tuesday, September 30.
